Two Shot Hunt 2009

The Two Shot Goose Hunt was this weekend and High Plains Wingshooters goose guides had a great showing.  11 teams in the tournament shot 4 times and 5 of those teams were in High Plains Wingshooters pits.  Three of our teams shot 2 birds and two of our teams tied for first place with 3 birds.  The tie breaker is weight and when it all shook out Brad and John Hill of Utah with guide Bret Van Rensselaer placed third.  Guide Corey Davison was either 4th or 5th depending upon weight. Either way for the third year in a row High Plains Wingshooters has had a least 2 teams in the top five!   A big congrats to guide Robb Nicolay for becoming the 2009 Wyoming State Goose Calling Champion by winning the Wyoming Goose Calling Championship on Friday!!  Awesome Job Robb!! I went and heard Robb call and he was awesome on that stage!
