Tough couple days

Last two days were a little rough.  Two groups in the field with only 5 hunters between the two.  Tuesday one group could have been done by 8:30 but between me not calling a couple easy shots and a couple easy misses, well we hunted all morning.  The other pit didn't fire a shot....I watched hundreds of birds fly that pit the day before, but not on Tues.  Today, one group got 10 of 12 birds and would have filled had they been able to stay since I saw over 100 birds land in the field right by the pit.  My group had limited opportunities as the birds would not finish. I don't know what the deal was, there were plenty of birds, but I just couldn't figure out what they didn't like...I tried a lot of changes, but never really felt like I made it work...goose hunting at it's toughest!!! Over all we could have had limits, but taking those 40 yarders is not my game...I still want them at 20 or less even this late in the season!
