HPW Bird Report >> Spring 2010

Looked like some new birds today.  Good wind, just right actually 15-20mph, good enough to make the birds work without dumping all the dekes.  New birds good wind, birds came straight in.  Felt strange watching birds come from way up without ever pumping a wing and just glide straight in to 10 yards...awesome actually, I had two different times when birds came all the way in without one toot on the call.  They just cupped and came so fast without help I got to just sit and watch!! That was some much needed fun for this guy after taking a whuppin last week a couple times!!  Some really big bunches flew up the river this morning so it wil be interesting to see what happens the next few days!
