HPW Bird Report >> Spring 2010

Wednesday I knew we had new birds because we had some really nice groups work us.. problem was that we got short stopped on BOTH sides and didn't get as much traffic as we needed.  Today, the new birds showed their stuff.  They dove in so hard and so fast that it felt like opening day...what a kick!! I forgot how easy these geese can be when they aren't patterned!!!  I had more birds inside 15 yards today with feet down wings out than I've had in any single day this  year...really a fun day!  I don't expect that again for awhile, but I sure appreciated it today after working my tail of for the last couple weeks!
