HPW Bird Report >> Fall 2010

Had two groups out Sunday after the two shot with mixed results.  It was truly a blue bird day with no wind, plenty of sun and 50 degrees...almost golf weather!! One pit had 16 birds by 9:15 am and were done.  The other pit watched the birds fly south of the reserve when they were on the north...just a weird thing.  Those same birds had covered that pit the day before in the two shot...I knew...I watched them cover the pit since I was in it!!  There are plenty of birds and they are still working the decoys really well (when they fly the right direction!) so get down here and get some!
