Tough Weekend for HPW.  The birds that are here fooled us.  We really hadn't been hunting much just having done a few trips so the birds flying over our pits had me convinced they would be easy.  OH BOY WAS THAT WRONG!!  I had four pit loads of hunters on Sunday and one paying group on Saturday.  We got killed!!  The birds on the Saturday hunt short stopped the pit and they got blanked...Sunday we put everybody in pits where either the birds were going over or the birds had been landing...well the birds that were going over were patterned and did not stop!! Very tough day.  We will be watching for new birds before we encourage any big push in hunting!  Don't worry they will be here very soon, but until then we're not getting too excited about getting you here to  hunt!!!
